Visitors Story:
When I was in high school, I had a number of flings with guys. One guy in particular ended up being a very bad choice for a boyfriend. I met Jason in Choir, and I was very desperate to have a boyfriend.
Well, some chicks I knew in the choir class were reluctant to hook me up with him. They knew he wasn't very popular and that if I had any shot of a decent reputation or a decent amount of popularity, that I had better not go out with him, but I wanted what I wanted, and that was that.
Unfortunately, when I started spending more time with him, I started noticing that his hygiene wasn't the best it could be. That was a turn off, but I still kept seeing him because I liked the attention and the excuse to get out of my house and away from my family.
Well then one day, we were walking back to school from 7-11 on a lunch break when he decided to slander Mexican people, basically making some comment about how they were dirty and smelly. I didn't talk to him the rest of the day at school.
Then, the next morning I found him in his Spanish class before the day was starting, and I told him I was done with him. I broke up with him, and I have never once regretted doing so. After that, we never spoke to each other again, and I avoided him all that I could.
I saw him once years later at the mall with my husband at the time. He just looked at me and laughed, but I thought to myself "You hypocritical scum!". So, my two biggest Red Flags are 1) Poor Hygiene and 2) Racist Attitude.
